First Responder: someone that helps in an emergency.
First Aider: someone that helps in an emergency and has a valid First Aid certificate.
Injured person: the person who falls ill or is injured, also referred to as a patient or victim.
Bystander: everyone else that is not an injured person or First Aider.
Emergency Services: consist of the Fire Department, Paramedics and Ambulance Department, Police and Traffic officials, and any other agencies that may be required.
Paramedic: A paramedic is a trained professional that renders basic, intermediate, or advanced life support until the injured person reaches the hospital.
